The collection is inspired by my own memories as a little girl, when I had an undeniable belief of the existence of fairies and discovering Barker’s whimsical books for the first time in my grandmother’s home. Upon rediscovering these books as an adult, I found myself reconnecting with the same feelings of wonder, escapism and imagination I experienced as a child.
